We are proud to be locally owned and operated, providing safe and reliable transportation since 1997. We transport with pride over 1800 students every day. Our drivers are all professionally trained through an extensive in-house training program approved by the Ministry of Transportation.
Brenmar Transit Inc. also provides private, reliable group charter services for all your school, business, and personal outing needs. We are fully accessible to accommodate all special needs and transportation requirements. We offer several wheelchair accessible vehicles with drivers who are specifically trained in special needs transportation.

The Wellington County Board of Education wanted to sell their buses in 1997. Doug Sargent of
the Belwood area and Jim (James) Hunter, a Harriston resident, together bought the school board fleet of 24 buses and started Brenmar Transit Inc.
Both Doug and Jim had prior school bus experience, Doug having owned his own fleet and Jim being the school board bus mechanic for 9 years. Through the years routes were added and deleted but in 2010 a RFP was won which added a net 19 routes.
In 2015 Brenmar has grown to operating over 50 routes with a total of over 60 buses.
